Farmhouse Dining Room
Eileen Duffy Editor of Edible East End will be here in the wine library on Saturday May 2nd between 3-5PM signing copies of her new book about the Long Island Wine industry entitled Behind the Bottle – The Rise of Long Island Wine. That night we’ll host Eileen in the Farmhouse kitchen and dining room and prepare a sumptuous meal inspired by the beautiful stories in her book. Eileen will read from the chapter on Shinn Estate and have books available for purchase. Seating is very limited. 7:00PM $110 per person. Call 631-804-0367 to reserve.
Our Farmhouse Inn begins its 9th year this Spring with the beginning of the 2015 growing season. The tasting room is open everyday from 10:30 AM until 5:00 PM and until 8:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. There are always 10-12 wines to choose for tasting – or enjoy a bottle or glass. Cheese plates, charcuterie, olives and nuts are available for purchase as well as signature Shinn Estate Vineyards T-shirts and copies of our cookbook “Recipes from Home” published in 2001 – winner of the Julia Child Cookbook Award.
If you are unable to visit us in the tasting room and cannot find our wines near you – we ship to most places in the U.S. Our Online store has gift certificates as well as many gift packages available.
