About the Vineyard

Who We Are

Our Heritage

Shinn Estate is a family-owned winery & farmhouse located in the heart of the North Fork. Our philosophy is that great wine begins in the vineyard and should reflect the region where its grapes are grown.

About Us

Our Story

We have always believed that great friends, great food and great wine are essential. We are delighted to share our beautiful vineyard and Farmhouse Inn — which we call home — with you.

Fresh ideas, energy and enthusiasm mean that the future of Shinn Estate is looking incredibly bright.

Our Roots

Established in 2000, Shinn Estate has been regarded as a pioneer in the Long Island wine industry for our focus on sustainable farming. Here’s a snapshot of some milestones throughout history that have contributed to the Estate you experience today.

“Tranquility in the Vineyards”

Shinn Estate Farmhouse is an amazing getaway: a comfortable well-appointed house in the midst of a tranquil vineyard a short drive from New York City. A complimentary tasting of their well-regarded wines is included.

Exactly what my boyfriend and I needed – a beautiful, relaxing, romantic get away. We walked around the vineyard in the morning with our coffee, what a great way to start a day. It was a nice touch having Shinn wine and a cheese plate to enjoy in the common area late afternoon. Planning another trip soon….
