“Shinn Estate is one of my favorite Long Island producers. Its wines always seem alive in the glass, energetic and full of pleasure, and this sauvignon blanc is no different. It’s light and tangy, almost succulent, with fresh fruit flavors. It’s called “First Fruit” because its sauvignon blanc grapes are the first to be harvested each year.” – Eric Asimov, The New York Times

|We call this wine First Fruit because it is the first fruit that we harvest from our vineyard every year. Our sauvignon blanc is freshly aromatic with musque aromas in addition to lime, kiwi, white grapefruit and melon complexed with minerality and balanced acidity.|

Hand harvested, fermented with natural yeast, no sulfur at harvest. Both clones were fermented separately in stainless steel tanks. Sauvignon Musque grapes were destemmed and cold soaked overnight prior to pressing.
